Its just that I have a few leftovers and was thinking I could mix it in with her dry kibble as a treat. Because dogs have sensitive diets, I was wondering whether eggs and corned beef are among the "people food" she's not allowed to have...

Thanks all =)

I would definitely skip the corned beef. Processed food for humans is almost never okay for dogs.

About the scrambled eggs, I'm not sure. Eggs are okay for them once in awhile, but since they're scrambled, the amount of butter and salt in there might be too much for a dog to take, especially a puppy.

All in all, I don't recommend it. Dog food really contains all the nutrition value that your pup needs, and believe me, it doesn't taste as bad to your dog as you may think! Most of the people who try to pamper their dogs by feeding them "people food" are really just doing them a disfavour by causing lots of health problems later on in life. It's also especially important to give your dog the right diet when she's a puppy, so that she can grow up to a healthy and strong adult.

Hmmm, seems to be a variety of answers.

I suggest:

SKIP the corned beef. It is considered a processed food so god knows exactly whats in it.

If you want, some egg or even raw egg isnt bad for them, some omega-3 fatty acids and all. I occasionally mix a raw egg into their food. (they love it)

As suggested above though, a good quality puppy food like science diet, eukanuba or the like will give the dog EVERYTHING it needs. I would shy away from supplementing it just to save money, because you want to give the dog the full amount of food reccomended on the packet, to ensure it gets the correct intake of everything.

Eggs are a perfect food for dogs, but the corned beef would be too salty.Just one bite as a treat wouldn't hurt her, though. You could slice it into little treat -sized bites and freeze it,and then when you want to give her a treat, just take a few out and let them thaw for 15 minutes or so.The eggs are great, though, really good for her coat. You could feed her an egg every day if you like.

Eggs are great for the coat and corned beef has all the ingredients as canned beef dog food anyway, so your dog will be just fine with all of that!

I volunteer at a Vet clinic, and I would suggest you stick with a strict puppy food diet. There is a reason puppy chow is made, and it is because it is loaded with nutrients and things to help them grow quickly since their bodies age almost 7 times faster than humans. Messing with this diet is not healthy for them, and can make them sick. Wait until they are older to give them some table scraps, when their stomachs are stronger! (However, eggs and beef can be healthy for dogs, but not until they are older.)

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt but just dont feed this stuff to the pup too often or you will have a bit of a fat pooch on your hands especially a lab they seem to gain weight rapidly ha ha but there ohh so cute with their begging eyes hey? it is good to give your dogs eggs occasionally but raws best it helps there coats.

My dog just died today, so this makes me really sad. :(
It would be alright if you give her some, spoil them while you can, right! If she is a large breed, go a light on the eggs and meat because all the protein increases her growth rate. Take care!

If you truly love your dog and want her to have a good life, then you should be asking your question to a vet, a professional. There is a lot of inaccurate bulls__t, a lot of straight bulls__t, and a lot of superstition here on Yahoo! Answers.
