A will is a way for a person to get their last wishes carried out. They can leave out anyone and put in anyone. The one thing you need to note about wills, if it doesn't state something like "I am aware that I have a child, and I am purposely excluding them". You might have a chance. It has to say in clear language that they don't want you have anything. You hear all the time about rich people cutting their children out of their wills and leaving it all to the cat or something. It sounds strange, but it happens.

And they can put any person into their will whether they're family or not. Why worry about it? Just live the best life you can and let the chips fall where they may.
