Since the latest research strongly indicates that psychopathy is basically due to serotonin and dopamine imballances, that homosexuality and transsexuality are rooted in structural differences in the hypothalamus, and that even pedophilia is a biologically based mental disorder, what does that say about our willingness to punish rather than rehabilitate?

Good Point, Maria S. It has in fact been found that, by balancing the levels of dopamine and serotonin in a psychopath's brain to normal levels, their anti-social tendencies diminish greatly. As for homosexuality and transsexuality - if that's a structural difference, no amount of medication is going to change it (I'm trans, by the way)
The pedophilia one I haven't read up on.
