Is it true that each plankton bloom can pull 800 million tons of C02 out of the atmosphere?
Is marine life suffering because of the reduction of plankton worldwide, and will this also help restore the food chain in the oceans?
Is it true that Planktos has a subsidiary that is reforesting many areas of land?
I looked at the website, but I'm interested in getting answers from scientists and other people as well.

Anders - how is that a "risk"? I've read that the silica-rich plankton blooms are the ones that remove the most c02 - I think that would be a benefit.

Yes, I think they can slow it down and maintain the Earth's atmosphere in a near-natural state for future generations with their technology.
Planktos will use iron to boost phytoplankton production, just as nature does when in it's prime.
The current rise of co2 in the last 100 years is NOT natural, and this premature global warming can be rectified through this technology, which has been studied and researched for over 20 years. Developmental stages are over, and they are ready for implementation.
Planktos Corp (formerly Diatom Corp) is a subsidiary of Solar Energy, LTD (which owns 30% of RICOH). Planktos owns KlimaFa, which is a eco-restoration firm dedicated to
large-scale afforestation and reforestation projects in the European Union and worldwide.

O.K., a typical plankton bloom can only pull 10k - 100k tonnes of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. Currently, scientists estimate the atmosphere has 800 million tonnes of CO2, twice as much as 100 years ago. So you're mixed up a little there.
The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is rising. It is now about 390 parts per million, vs. 284 ppm at the beginning of the 20th century.
In the last 20 years plankton has been reduced by half, causing loss of fish, mammals, and other marine life, and incresed C02 has caused the ocean to warm dramatically over the last decade, causing species to change migration patterns in all of the world's oceans. When excess greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere, air temperatures rise. This heats the ocean's surface, creating the thermocline barrier that blocks nutrients from cycling up. Without those nutrients, phytoplankton can't survive.
Plankton provides over half the world's oxygen, and is at the bottom of the food chain.
Solar Energy LTD's subsidiary Diatom Corporation acquired Planktos, Inc in 2005. Diatom Corp then changed it's name to Planktos Corporation.
Planktos Corp's KlimaFa is currently reforesting major areas in Europe with trees.
Whether or not one believes in climate change or global warming, something must definitely be tried. These companies are represented by scientists, geologists, and ecologists all over the globe.
NASA has a lot of info on this subject - and I believe it's really happening, and it's happening a lot faster than a lot of people are willing to believe.

The problem is that there are many species of plankton. There is a risk that those who uses silica instead of CO2 will flourish.

Plankton Corps US have got a new intel concerning the oil trade across the border, so they plan to employ the equatorial trade winds to recycle nuclear power into solar energy.

YES, THEY CAN STOP GLOBAL WARMING!
just like i can stop rainstorms, and you stop earthquakes.
did this planktos corp. invent a dimmer switch for the sun yet?
we need to help our galatic partners, the martins with their global warming issue too.
indeed, all planets in our solar system are above normal.
if we all work together, we CAN stop galactic warming.

Who says that this climate scare isn't good for business? Many businesses thrive of others fears. Global warming is very profitable.
