I have felt light headed,dizzy and can't think straight an feel like I am going to throwe up.

high cholesterol does not have symptoms until it clogs your arteries enough for a heart attack or stroke, usually in older age people. If you are light-headed, dizzy, etc. you need to go to the doctor. It could be 100 different possibilities from pregnancy to a brain tumor to anemia to not much of anything at all. Best wishes.

Don't diagnosis yourself. You are probably worrying for no reason. If your symptoms persist, go to the doctor. If they don't, you can have your cholesterol level checked in many different ways. They'll give you a reading if you give blood, and there are even kits you can buy at the store.
