Apparently, she doubted God's existence. Do you think St. Peter allowed her through the Pearly Gates?

Dear Bungangera,

i did read the articles concerning Mother Teresa today, and had my own questions about them.

First let me say when it comes to people's salvation- i really leave that between that person and God. i felt that some of the letters could have been taken out of context- certainly we can understand that a person serving in the environment she was- might have felt times of loneliness, frustration, etc. It seems that there may have been times where she felt like she wasn't as devoted to God and her personal discipline to God as she would have liked to be.

These letters were written to a gentlemen who was supposed to be a Spiritual mentor to her- so i find it odd that he would "expose this after all this time." It's hard to get the full scope of what Teresa might have been saying without reading the entirety of the letter.

Nevertheless-- God is the one who judges the heart- and although i can't very nor deny whether Mother Teresa had doubts about God- and to what extent they were- i can say that she definitely demonstarted a lot of the love of God. We can definitely see that God's love did touch her heart and she her life really reflected whta God's word taught her about God.

It's not Peter nor any other saint who decides who goes to heaven. It is a person's belief and trust in Jesus Christ.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster
