I was dating a guy for 3 months and we mutually decided we would be better off as friends. At the time I figured I didn't need to tell him how much he meant to me cause I figured, "it doesn't matter if I tell him or not, he probably already knows." Now as the days have gone by I realize how much I value him as a person and as a friend and that through the whole exceperience I met someone I truly trust and admire, even though now we are no more than friends. Should I tell my friend or do you think he already knows? Is this something even tell to people? What do I do with these feelings?

I've always just told people when they are important to me. They appreciate it and I don't wonder if they realize how much I value them.

How could it possibly hurt to tell him? The worst thing that could happen is you make him happy and feel good about himself???? the horror! Always let the people you care about know how you feel because you never know when it will be the last chance you have. Sometimes it is hard and scary to be open about your feelings but remember that fortune favors the bold.

Tell him but don't make it sound too "cheesy" or romantic. Just like a casual talk nothing too special.
