that is definetly not normal or healthy. I would seriously get that checked out ASAP. you don't want to get messing around with your colon. always better to be safe than sorry.

Dude...you should be taking a crap at least once or twice a day depending how much you eat. I like to eat meats too, but you should also include vegetables too. You're rda of fiber is 25-35 grams a day. Your digestive system is probably going thru alot due to your intake of alot of meats. I don't blame you cuz I love meats too. If you keep it up, you may result of getting diverticulitus. Which is an infection of the colon due to low fiber intake. Last October I almost ended up getting surgey, but was luckily treated with anti-biotics and ended up being on a liquid diet for 3 weeks. I lost alot of weight due to this. Some people actually have alot of fecal matter still inside them because they don't eat enough fiber. You can go to yahoo health and do some research on Diverticulitus. Good luck.

Most people fall in somewhere between 3 times a day to 3 times a week. There is no set number of bowel movements you should have. If you normally go to the bathroom once or twice a week, then this is what is normal for you.

If you are feeling uncomfortable or sick because of this, then a trip to the doctor would be a wise.

If you would like to increase the frequency of your bowel movents, try adding more fiber to your diet. Eat more fresh fruit and vegetables.

I would suspect your diet is high in not only meat but probably junk food too, things like fast foods and processed foods.

Sounds like you are lacking in fibre. You'll find fibre in fruits, vegetables and quality grains. You can eat these raw or cooked, but you need to have lots of fibre in your diet everyday.

You may also need to start drinking more water to get your bowels moving.

It is very unhealthy to have as few bowel movements as you suggest you are having and an excellent way to develope things like colon cancer in the future.

The site below might help you learn about some of the better foods you could be eating to improve your digestive system.

Your colon wrote me, and told me to tell you: EAT SOME VEGETABLES!

Seriously, doesn't it make sense: you put food in, then stuff comes out? Trying to achieve a balance, yes?

Your condition, unfortunately, is normal... for Americans... although definitely NOT healthy.

Your body is being slowly poisoned by your diet.

The purpose of your colon is to remove food wastes from your body as quickly as possible, so toxins in your food do minimal damage to your system.

Water and fiber help make this happen. If you're not eating enough fruits and vegetables and whole grains to keep your system running at a constant clip, you're asking for colon cancer before you're fifty.

Jeebus-

Do you fill the bowl to overflowing when you do go?

I'd hate to see what a month's worth of feces looks like...
