Hi! That's a great approach, and really quite easy. For breakfast I have a half of a bagel with cream cheese. For lunch, a half of a sandwich with some chips. (chips are junky, but I only have a few to get the craving over) Mid afternoon snack is the time that I try to fit in the junky snack if I need one. IN MODERATION is the key. Limit yourself to one serving of the junk, or anything for that matter. All packages should have a serving size on it. That's the healthiest best way. I try to get the junk in during the day if I need it so I have time to work it off during the rest of the day, unlike near bedtime when it will turn right into fat! For dinner I have something sensible, and if I need a munchie in the evening I try to have something healthy. If it's a sweet I crave, I'll have just one or two crackers with peanut butter and jelly on them. Hope that helps. :o)

The key is in moderation. You can eat whatever junky food you want, in moderation. Follow the nutrition guide on the label. If a bag of chips says you can have 18 chips for 180 calories, eat 18 chips. If you want ice cream from, let's say Dairy Queen, have a small blizzard or cone. You can eat whatever you want while dieting or whatever, you just have to eat it in the right amounts.

On a day when I feel like I might want to eat something not so healthy, I just make sure everything else I eat that day is really healthy. For example:
Breakfast-low fat yogurt and fruit
Snack-cheese and crackers
Lunch-green salad with nonfat dressing
Dinner-broiled fish and steamed veggies
