Usually a marriage license costs between $35-$65 and with most cash is required to pay for it. You can do a search on your county website and find the clerk's office. There should be a link to license fees and what is required when you apply.

I don't know where you are in MI, but we live in Grosse Pointe and we obtained our marriage licence from the City County Building in Downtown Detroit. (Its the building with the Spirit of Detroit statue in front of it at Woodward and Congress).
I can't remember how much it cost, sorry.

It should be less than $50, and you get them at your courthouse, in the county clerk's office. Best wishes!

In CA, it's $50 for a marriage license. I believe they charge $20 extra if you don't know how to spell "marriage license", and another $30 if you can't figure out how to search for "marriage license in your state" on google.
