From a spiritual perspective, everything that 'we' experience is an illusion of Consciousness. Time, space, physicality are all products of mind and are formations within mind rather than 'outside' since there is no outside in the absence of objective space.

Many spiritual belief systems are down with that, but sonmething we're not eager to notice is that the human is also illusion. It's just another part of the universe that forms in mind, and so what is mind. Beyond the individual concept of mind, mind is the one Consciousness itself, from which and within which all things arise and fall. Some would call this God since it is the source of creation.

Individuality is an illusion that forms in Consciousness. You are That Consciousness.

What separates illusion from 'Reality'?
answer is also there :) illusion.. ultimately there is no sepration. reality is always as it is. if illusion is arises its only due to ignorance. as you said: identification with this limited individual. Question deeply...enquire deeply.. who am i? to whom the separation Is? then we realise that its only for the ego.isn't? are you an ego? ego is a thought.isn't? then are you a thought? you are that which is aware of the thought. which always remains unknown to this illusioory ego. bcas as 'eye cannot see itself' in the same we reality always remains as the subject. ie why we use our inqury non-objective- who am i?
You, along with the rest of the world, have assumed that there is a discreet individual person here: that the Consciousness which is the animating force here is an individual consciousness, unique to this body and separate from the
consciousness in other bodies. This is based on appearances: there appear to be separate bodies, so the
assumption is that there are separate consciousness-es. The belief in this assumption blinds you to seeing What Is, and is also the cause of your suffering.
Look: what you think of as your'self,' what you perceive as an individual person, this idea of being a separate entity, a body-mind-personality-soul-intellect: this is a subsequent
by-product, an artifact, an almost accidental side effect of this streaming, this flowing of Consciousness. It is the streaming of Consciousness in this organism which the organism inaccurately perceives as a 'mind' which it thinks
is its own: it is the very Consciousness streaming in this organism which allows this perception at all, which makes it possible for this organism to think it is other than that same Consciousness.Consciousness is all there IS.

They already have a name for this belief.
Christian Science.
From wikipedia:
At the core of Christian Science is the teaching that God and God's creation are entirely good and spiritual, and that God has made all things in His likeness. Christian Scientists hold that the reality of being and of all existence is spiritual, not material. They see this spiritual reality as the only reality and all else as illusion or 'error'. Christian Science acknowledges that we all seem to be experiencing a material existence, but holds that this experience ultimately yields to a true spiritual understanding of God and creation.

I wonder why people who subscribe to this philosophy do not give me their "illusionary" possessions.

I don't think it is possible to put ourselves outside ourselves.
So in that regard the so called 'Reality' that is supposedly outside ourselves is really what we perceive it to be. If you are not yourself then who are you? SO are we real?
Descartes said "I think therefore I am". So since we are thinking and doing things we must be real (as in 'Reality')
The 'illusion' part is the notion that somehow we are not real. lol
However these are all just words. We cannot explain it this way. All the logic and all the eloquence in the world cannot untie this 'Gordian knot'. (Except to break it)

Sorry for the confusing thoughts Phil. I tried though

Thanks for your question

Yes, I completely agree. Once death of this mortal body occurs then we can see real man . Spiritual man. Then we can also spiritually see God's true creation. When we dream at night, who could convince us its not real? Its not until awakening that we realize it was an illusion.

you're somewhat correct to what i believe, this is like a dream, but no ordinary dream. we control what we do in our blessed dream we are given. but what we do in this dream will affect greatly in a bad way or a good way to when we wake up to the reality, the reality of standing before God, either for eternal life or damnation.

Reality is that which does not change regardless of your beliefs.

Take gravity. Try jumping from a ten story building and see if it's just illusion. This is why "spiritual perspectives" are BS.

Illusion is deceptive and not true whereas reality is fact and denotes truth.
