is there any difference between the audio wire use for home and the one use for the car.... or can i use a quality home theater cable for wiring the speaker in my car?
there is a monster cable MTX certified, it will be fine using it in my car?

car audio wire has better insulation and it is more durable. You can use house audio wire but it wont sound as good. plus you want to prolly use bigger gage of wire if you are hooking up subs!

For feeding music to the speakers, same stuff. For getting power to the amps, has to be a lot bigger because of lower voltage.
And before you waste a lot of money blowing out your ears, making it hard to focus on traffic, and irritating the heck out of your neighbors, why not just wear earphones instead of making a wheeled boom box?

if your talking a but the rca's from your head unit to your amp,as long as they are of a good quality it's all good.but if your talking about power wire dont do it man! the wire tends to heat up,melt,and it's to stiff it brakes,and far to hard to install

it shouldnt hurt the subs at all i have some hooked up in my room they sound pretty good...
