As you mix more diesel with the gasoline,
combustion efficiency will decrease with
more carbon build-up in the combustion
chambers.
Eventually a point will be reached where
ignition fails to occur.

It will reach a point where the vapour pressure of the mixture will become too low for the ignition by spark plug not providing the correct ignition temperature. The engine will die after suffering a bad 'coughing' and 'spluttering' fit
