Whatever you decide to purchase, you can include some special "Good For" cards along with it.
Make different cards with some values like:
Good For One Half Hour Foot Massage
Good For One Evening of Serious Waiting On
Good For One Homemade Manicure
You can create what you know will make her happy and be able to brag to her friends about your thoughtfulness.
Tell her she has to play Hot 'n Cold in order to find her present. Then, say "warm", "cool", "warmer", etc. as she goes around the house trying to discover where you hid it.
Have fun.
Have a star for being thoughtful toward your mom. Good girl.
Oh! Give her 50 pennies and tell her you wanted them to be ten-dollar bills, but couldn't manage it this year.

OK here's what I did for my gram...she loves those scratch off from the Texas lottery....I brought a plant from the store then I brought about $25.00 worth of scratch offs and taped them to the leaves of the plant...put a ribbon on it and gave it to her....she loved it...should have seen the grin on her face.. she was more happier with that.... then some of the expensive gifts some of my brothers gave her...I just gave her something that she liked...you know your mom ....what ever it is she going to love it ...

Why dont you get a large picture frame and make her a collage of photos of you and your brothers and sisters if you have any.you can a really large one at walmart for about 10 dollars.Or get a large peg board and cover it with cloth and arrange the pictures on it and you can put ribbon across it .my son made me one it is beautiful.get some scrapbook frames and frame each photo you put on it.use your imagination it will turn out beautifuland will be hand made not expensive.Shell love it.

buy decorations and decorate with things about her age and personlity
get a card an write sweet words that will make her cry
