Most Dentists prescribe a pain management type of prescription for teeth being pulled, but if they aren't then i would take two tylenol 30 minutes to an hour before your appointment. Thats what my dentist told me to do when i got teeth pulled. It helped me. It might help you.

Do not take any medication prior to the removal without your Dentist's knowledge and agreement.

Some pain killers can interfere with blood cloting, whichcould cause problems.

Others can interfere with the medications used in anasthetics.

Once they have been removed, ask the dentist what is reccommended.

take 800 milligrams of motrin (prescription strength) an hour before your appt. this will help the most (over the counter anyway) but it is NOT long lasting. You will have to keep taking it according to the directions.
