At any military recruiter. Look in the yellow pages in your area. Below is a webpage from military.com. It gives good info on how to go about joining up.

Talk to a recruiter. Each branch has a recruiter locator on their websites.

Prepare your driver's licence, birth certificate, social security card and HS Diploma, GED or any higher diploma as you will need them eventually for the paperwork (there is a lot of paperwork) but call and ask if you should bring these things with you on your first visit to the recruiter's office.

Make sure to ask as many questions as you need to.

the recruiter. Make sure anything he promises is in the contract you sign.

before you sign be sure to read the entire contract - and ask questions about anything you don't understand BEFORE signing.

Be sure you know how long you'll serve - and how long they can call you back after your active service part is up.
