The most effective way is to build a foundation on truth not myth.

Matthew 7:24 “Therefore everyone that hears these sayings of mine and does them will be likened to a discreet man, who built his house upon the rock-mass. 25 And the rain poured down and the floods came and the winds blew and lashed against that house, but it did not cave in, for it had been founded upon the rock-mass.

I guess what you are saying is that you are being tested. Yeah, it is way worth it to stick it out. This is how we grow. The closer you are to God, the more you are tested. It makes you grow stronger. I am not saying that you will be tested left and right, but if you pray and ask for strength or patience, you definitely may get that chance. Also if you were talking about a really deep hard time, like a depression, that is tough too, but you learn what your strengths are and also you can empathize with others when they are in that situation.

I'll do what ever it takes to be strong and do Heavenly Father's work. I have been through a lot. So I guess yes, I would do it again, if it be his will. Every time I come out of a test I become stronger and stronger, more Christ like, but believe me I have a long way to go. God bless you.

The best thing to do in a desert type valley, where you drained and need spiritual water is dig a spiritual well. Meaning getting down to the basics in your walk. Shut out the distractions, pray and fast, read the word. Sometimes we go through things to get the impurities out of our lives. Even Jesus took some time alone in th gospels. I've been there. Keep perservering. God Bless

I listen to praise and worship music. I cry alot and pray constantly. As thankful as I am for the lesson that I have learned while going through the valley, I would never ask to experience it again. My valley time as lasted for over 40 years and I am thankful that I am coming out now.

God deals with His called out ones IN the valley - not the Mountains. There is NO death in the Mountains ( the Anon of great joy ). As you in faith proceed into the final valley, you will find yourself alone and without hope; you will see yourself as you truly are without God - DEAD in your sin with NO hope. At the point where you cry out to God from this living grave for grace and mercy through Jesus Christ and prepare yourself to fall into the hands of God to accept his judgment, you WILL have undergone YOUR JUDGMENT while still alive. You will have entered the strait gate and walked this journey all the way to YOUR cross. HERE, you will FIND your God - just in the nick of time. The grace and mercy of Jesus Christ be with you, now and forever - amen and amen.

Yes, sometimes I feel alone. What I do to hang on is surround myself with worship songs... I pray a lot... I talk to other and get Christian support.

sometimes its hard to pray - I feel like God isn't there and He isn't answering - but He is... I know in my heart He is. He cares for me and He has answered me, I just get impatient and selfish.

Yes it is all worth it... God is faithful, God is good. He is the only reason I am still here. I've been through so much... and only have survived because of Him.

Don't give up, trust God. If you need help - let me know. =)

Yes, the valleys are worth it. And as for what I do, I follow in King David's foot steps and cry out to the Lord. And after a period of that, then I will sing praises to God. As nothing will lift me up more then losing focus on my woes and singing praises.
And yes I would do it again, as I have gotten closer to God in the valleys. As I have to then lift my hands and head to the Lord for help.

ahhhhhhhh, yes, the valleys and desserts..... been through many of both......... and it is NOT easy to hold on ..... but, maybe that is the point of it....... to see how tight our faith has a hold ??? to see what anchor we will choose ?? and that is where the free will comes in...... I find that I choose to meditate more that I choose to read the Word.. I meditate on God, freeing my mind and letting loose of the out side world........ I give God the space and time to talk, walk, teach, love, etc. me with out the interference of LIFE...... even though I may still be in that valley or dessert after wards, I become aware that I am NOT alone......... then when I least expect it, there in front of me is an oasis...... a cool spring filled pool of living water, and I dive in....... that is when I start back into the Word........ *sigh*........ go in peace........ God bless

christianity although has thousands of denominations-- there is one thing that we all follow, the ten commandments.

when you are walking in the valley and seems like help from friends, others, and GOD is out of reach from you, remember 2 things: it is in these tribulations and trials that strengthens your faith, hope, and love of GOD and others... second thing to remember is, if you think that your prayer is not being heard, then stop praying and continue walking, GOD is already have been by your side carrying you thru you journey in the valley from the minute you started to kneel and pray.

1. I pray to God for strength, wisdom and knowledge to help me through it.
2. I meditate upon His promises and use them to remind God that I need them, even though He never needs reminded.
3. When I get in this valley I draw the focus off me and place it on God and others.

I have been exactly where you mentioned; in your question/statement. All I had was God and this is where my hope lays. I had to fully trust In Him; for it all, since man and myself had failed so many times. He will allow you to be in these valleys to grow in Him and do nothing; but totally lean upon Him. We serve a jealous God and He does not like for us to put our faith in nothing other than Him. When it boils down to it; this is all we have; that does not fail.

If I had to do it again; I would. Because it has made me a better servant, stronger, wisdom and understanding person for others. I count it all as a blessing. I have had to be cut away on, reshaped, remolded, baked, put back on potter's wheel many times, and still being refined. I will not be perfected until Jesus comes for me.
