I havent seen anyone yet collect FSP for NTC because they are usually back at the 30 th day. The army knows what they are doing, well most of the time, lol.
But yes everyone else is right, If it is over that 30th day then you will get it.

In my experience, when they send them to NTC or JRTC (same thing but at Ft Polk, LA), they usually try to make it right under 30 days to keep from paying the FSP. My husband has never been to JRTC for more than 27-28 days. That way they get almost the same time to train, but don't have to shell out the money. Ain't the Army grand?
A friend of mine says the Navy does the same thing. Her husband always goes out to sea for 28 or 29 days at a time.

When mine went he was home on the 29th day...so no FSP. Like the others said he has to be gone for over 30 days.

Possible yet doubtful. It has already been stated that he needs to be gone 30 days, so if you ask think for a little bit why he will be gone only around 25- 27 days. The Army knows their system well.
