Why does it seem like ugly girls get nice guys pretty girls get jerks???

... Well, your opinion of ugly girls is? They're probably the nicer girls that honestly care about their grades, and their friends. The nicer guys probably realize this.
Pretty Girls probably get jerks, because the jerks go for looks alone.

This is going to sound funny as He** but here we go.
There are guys out there that have had BEAUTIFUL girls and had nothing but problems with them. The ugly girls, as you put it, may not be ugly on the inside or outside to the nice guy. All depends on the beautiful girl relationship, I have been crapped on by some gorgeous ladies and I started going with medium to almost ugly ones due to not having to put up with a bunch of shoot.
Pretty girls look for jerks because they can and will be able to control the jerk and have them do what ever it is that will keep and make the pretty girl happy. NUFF SAID. Been there done that

Just because those "jerks" have girlfriends doesn't mean ANYTHING about the girl being nice either. That girl may look attractive but that doesn't mean she is a very nice person. Remain the nice guy because girls will come around. Just try to not be so shy and talk to girls. We don't bite (well not the nice guys) if you become a jerk it will be even harder to find a relationship than it is now

Because nice guys are afraid of rejection from pretty girls and pretty girls think they can change the attitude of the jerks to the way the girls want them to be.

Because beauty is found in the inside..Nice guys are respectful and find that it is worth their time to spend with girls that are not as impulsive on their looks (your idea of 'ugly' girls?) . The 'pretty' girls are really the reflection of the jerks...

because the nice guys see the girls for who they are, not what they look like. the pretty girls get jerks because guys (the jerks anyway) don't usually think very highly of girls, and they assume that if she's cute, she's probably easy, or at least would make a nice addition to their popularity rating.

Well you see, there is a psychological aspect to this situation. Girls and Boys are both complex things. To you a girl might seem ugly, but to others, she might be a butterfly waiting to emerge from her cocoon. A guy might seem like he is a jerk, but actually maybe he is just a misunderstood individual.

Pretty girls often don't think they are pretty, or else they think that prettiness is the only thing they have going for them.
The jerks have the confidence to ask these women out, and the women are insecure enough to accept.
I dunno, I'm beautiful and I have Mr. Nice Guy for a husband.

1) Only a nice guy would go for an ugly girl. And then, they are sooo grateful!
2) My theory is that pretty girls get abused by jealous people. But then, how would I know?
