Hell no! That guy's a psychopath with severe self-esteem and control issues. And NO it is NOT up to you to fix the guy. It's up to you to find someone positive and respectful of both you and of himself to hang out with because this guy's 100% bad news. Why on earth would you even consider marrying someone you barely know in the first place, let alone a sick individual like this guy? If someone tells you they'll torture you if you ever leave them, leave them!

take cue from indian culture, marriages were arranged previousy based on the family/human values, without meeting from both sides and were comparatively much successful, since they lived happily for tens of decades due to moral vlues,so when morality is fading away so shine is out of this secred relation.so need of the hour is both must be equal moral in every aspect of life.

i would be concerned that this person has some personal information about me. obviously they have my address to send the letters. i'm sure i would move after the threats continued.
you know, i never thought of it from that angle but its interesting to think of YHWH that way.

well, I would stay far, far away from this person. sounds like they're nothing but trouble. like someone I'd steer very clear of. if someone wanted a "personal relationship" with this person, they're probably pretty... desperate. like they just need something to fill the... void?

No problem. The divorce rate is quite high for people who know each other quite well. Try almost anything once.

I would, but then, I have deep seated problems with accepting reality and letting go of mythopoeic constructs.

No. I chose my wife on the basis of her faith in Christ and attractive qualities like generosity. That required getting to know her and examining her. Marriage is supposed to be a lifelong committment under God and shouldnt be taken lightly.
