The Lord, God, told us that we all can know Him without men having to teach us. Do you think that's the real problem with religions and religious people not understanding that ?

God will teach and reveal to whom He will revealed; and until then, men searches, talk and debate in vain concerning Him

What say you all ?

howdigethere, it must not be men's voice you hear or pay heeds to; but Christ's voice and Him speaking whether it's be by man or by a donkey, even a corrupted and evil God-hater can sometime mouth God's Truth without the purest of intent , of course!
It is not who is right but what is right !
All Truth are God's Truth irregardless of who speak it !

Edge, that's for you to search it out for yourself and not because I said so. If you are a true seeker of truth-you will !

Believers don't "need" anyone to teach them, as Paul said it, but we need the Holy Spirit to teach us. The Lord uses pastors, friends, and family (those who are saved) and inspires them to say something that will teach us. We are called to fellowship with other believers to encourage each other, grow closer to the Lord, and help spread the Gospel with others.

Hebrews 10:22-25
(22) let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies having been washed with pure water.
(23) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful who promised),
(24) and let us consider one another to provoke to love and to good works,
(25) not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

1 Corinthians 1:21
(21) For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Most people need to be introduced to Christ w/some instruction.
In my case, and I'm sure many more, Jesus found me; praise God. But still, I needed to know the Word of God. For that, I needed the Book and teachers.

I honestly don't believe people meet God in on their own, in their hearts. They believe face value what a pastor tells them without delving into God's Word to see what it has specifically for them.

There is so much more to God than what is read to you on a Sunday, you need to seek, ask questions to God, read the bible and know that He will show you the depths of His knowledge is you just allow Him to.

Oh sorry, I thought you were a Christian, my mistake :) I wouldn't expect you to know what Jesus is about then ..........

God's word says in Romans 10:14 But how can they call on someone if they haven't trusted in him? and how can they trust in someone if they have'nt heard about him? and how can they hear about someone if no one is proclaiming him? and how can people proclaim (preach or teach) him unless God sends them? In other words God has to send someone to preach the good news. It could be anyone one of us. At work, or with friendsetc.... Yes God can show Himself in many differant ways to us but as far as the gospel and the teaching of it, a man or woman has to be led by the Holy Spirit in order for the gospel to be taught truthfully, And in order for somone to receive Christ as their savior. There are alot of false christian churches alongside of false non christian churches too. There are alot of men sending themselves out preaching and they aren't sent by God. There are alomst more of these false teachers then ones sent by God. But when God sends a man or woman, with His power, not man's, then true transformations take place.

Since the notion of god is entirely fictitious, there is nothing to know.
