Personally, I believe we evolved from other primates, but the point of this question was to clear up myths without biting each others heads off.

We evolved from some form of primate, not a monkey, and they evolved from something that evolved from a single celled organism...

The only people who suggest this are the ones who don't understand, or believe in, mainstream sceintific descriptions of evolution..
It is just one of many examples of dishonesty and deciet used to propegate the intellectual vacuum that is deity worship..!

Lol, what many christians dont get about evolution, we did NOT come from monkeys, was a common ancestor. Then again, they have never picked up a science book.

I do. Why can't people think in terms of this scenario?
"God created the Earth. Life formed on it's own. They turned into monkies. Monkies flung poo at each other and evolved. Humans fling nuclear missiles and bad remarks at each other."
Looks like god needs to reappear.
