No I don't think that's progress. Progress would be if we got rid of those already-invented gods and monsters.

The fact that we still worship invisible deities and follow the life of Paris Hilton is a sign that we have stagnated.. or perhaps even begun to slide backward.

True interaction with real life is becoming less and less attainable. What we see via remote eyes and ears doesn't answer questions or talk about the kids and the neighborhood, it only builds more question and higher walls between us and reality.

Not twenty, but 50 years ago people enjoyed other people....now it seems to be fear or domination and "you had better believe what I believe if you want to be a friend."

It's sad really that people actual believe we are advanced, when in reality we have become fat, lazy, and stupid. Not necessarily in that order, nor literally, could be figuratively, but still, those three things. This is the perfect evidence.
