You should approach your co-worker and tell him the truth. Pay him back the money and beg him not to report to the Police.
Take note, if he had reported to the Police, even he don't want to pursue the case, you still can be charged.

If your co-worker accepts the money and doesn't report it then it would be ok. However, I would assume that the co-worker has already reported it. In some states you have committed two crimes, theft and unauthorized use of a financial card. Depending on the state, one or both could be felonies. If the police are involved, you can bet they will be out to arrest you.

Call a lawyer now and make arrangements.

Tell your co-worker that you "discovered" their charge card in your wallet, and say that you may have used it by mistake, instead of using your own. Return their card and ask them to check their bill closely next month as you will have to pay them for charges you may have made on it. Apologize a lot and say you feel silly. I hope you have a good reputation, you are gonna need one to get away with this. In any case this is the best you can do.

You should be worried and feel bad. Yes the cops will get involved and soon you will be a convicted felon locked up in a correctional facility somewhere with a cellmate named Cletus who thinks you have cute tushie.

You committed Credit Card Fraud. It's a felony everywhere in the United States.

You will need a lawyer, and face up to several years in prison.
