I am looking for contacts in R&S, as I want to start networking here. I would describe myself as Christian/Buddhist/Wiccan. It doesn't matter what you consider yourself, as long as you are not rude. Thanks for considering.

Thank you , everyone. The response was much greater than I thought it would be.

I'm an Irish rocker, father, and a devout Christian. I also am extremely accepting of others, and not rude. As long as you don't promote violence and hate.

Okay. I'm currently in the process of studying
Buddhism and meditation.
I have, in years past, dabbled in Christianity,
but I cannot say I have ever been a "die hard
believer" in it; I find some logic in the Biblical
scriptures, but hardly enough to consider the
so-called "Word of God" worth living by.
As for Wiccan, I can't say I know much about
that at all. (That's the practice of witchcraft. Is
it not? Isn't that the sort of thing that little boys
like Harry Potty are made of?)

If you are genuinely interested in the study of
Buddhism and meditation--which do, in fact,
go hand-in-hand--I have several authors to
recommend to you:
Joseph Goldstein and Jack Kornfield: both
of them are co-founders of The Insight Medi-
tation Society, in Barre, MA.
Bhante Henepola Gunarantana: he became an
ordained Buddhist monk at the tender age of
12, and is the founder of the Bhavana* Society
in High View, West Virgina.
And, of course, the Dalai Lama.

*The Pali term for "insight meditation."

Peace.

Wow that's certainly an interesting combination. Personally I am buddhist/pagan. Sure I'll be a contact. I'd love to hear how you came to combine those three religions and how that works for you.
