I take a combination of claratin, benedryl and use nasalcrom(all are OTC) when I just cant avoid my allergens. Wear a face mask when you cant avoid being exposed. Talk to your doctor when you get back home and find out what they recommend.

When you have an allergy, you really should avoid being exposed to your allergens. Not being careful can send you into an anaphylactic shock which can be fatal and would require immediate medical attention.

Taking too much medication is also not advisable. Best is to stay indoors until Monday.

There is nothing you can do for now but, continue with your benadryl. In the future I would talk to my Dr about getting a nasal steroid (Flonase, Nasonex, etc..). They are easier to live with (side effect wise) and they are the gold standard treatment for nasal allergies.

Try wearing a face mask- I know it may look silly but it'll help keep dust out of your lungs and really will help a lot.
