Its not your mom's own decision though. Wait a bit, give yourself a time to adjust. Maybe in time you'll like it as you go on with the homeschooling group. But if things not really going well, work until the end of the semester. There and then, tell your mom about it. Surely, you won't have good grades and excellent performance when you don't enjoy learning, right? Show her your grade and performance result, you may tell her maybe you can do better if you go public schooling. Assure her you will do better and please oblige yourself to do so, otherwise mom would put you back to homeschooling if she see nothing differs afterall

I would be honest with her and tell her that homeschooling isn't all it's cracked up to be, and how much you miss the socializing you get from public school.

Tell her now, before school starts. You are missing out on a lot by not being in public school - Friends, school dances, boyfriends, football games, etc. Good luck.

Well i personally would tell her in a nice way after i got her in a nice mood. Remember that most kids who dont have fun in class wont alway retain all they learn. Think of the bone dance on Hannah Montana. It was fun and people learned. So if your not having fun you wont retain info. So tell her nicely.

give it some time but remember this is YOUR education. if you don't like it and feel you could learn more in a regular school just tell her that. she'll understand and be probably be happy that you are thinking of your future and this your so grown up and you'll get that whole speech, but hey it might be worth it :P

tell her. its proven that a student will do better if theyre in an environment that they like. which explains why you do bad in a class that you hate the teacher

Be honest. Tell her. It is always better than suffering in silence.
