Sounds fine to me it is only a 2 year difference.Maybe she is using that as an excuse because she doesn't want to go out with you.

Hi, I'm 16 years old and I'm currently starting a relationship with a 19 year old. My parents and his parents are fine with it because we met through each other's families, so I suppose it was easier for their approval.
1. I think she might make such a big deal about it because you're in college and she isn't yet. And I think she's scared to get attached to you in case you leave her for an older girl.
2. I'm a virgin. I don't know if he knows that yet and I know there's a part of me that's terrified it's going to freak him out. He doesn't pressure me, but in the back of my mind I know he's 19 and experienced. I think about when he'll want to have sex. So, maybe she's inexperienced.
As a 16 year old girl, it's the fact that I'm afraid to get too close and I'm inexperienced. Hope this helps.

Yea sure. But depend on people who thinks whatever is okay or not. In my opinion, I like a guy is older than me. Some couples don't care about the ages. Do you know why? Couples believe the love is most important than ages. Love is considering a powerful idea. It is depend on people's feeling and opinions. Now it is up to you for deciding.

hmm I don't see what's the problem with going out with a younger girl especially two yrs younger than you, and since she is younger than you, she can at least look up to you in terms of life experiences and etc. That's weird, if she thinks that age gap is huge between you two and she can not accept you because of your age. You know what I would suggest probably look for someone who will like you who you are and what you are. Good Luck

In my opinion i thing its ok because 2 years apart isn't that big as a deal as like 15 or 20 years apart.

Technically, you are both still considered minors in a number of states although she is considered more so.However, a two year age difference isn't such a big deal.Hence, if you both like each other and would like to date, then good luck to you.

Wait till she's 18. I'm sorry but as long as she is under 18, it's illegal.
It's not against the law to hang out with her but if you make any attempt at intimacy, this can be viewed as statutory rape.
Play it safe.
