You have some great ideas, but let me take you a step further. Forget the wall. We have the technology to place sensors along the border and camera's. Combine these with radio controlled land mines and BAM, you've got splattered Mexicans all over the desert. Signs could be erected in 10 languages warning of the land mines. here's what I could tell you. In a week the problem would be solved. This is technology at it's best brother.....

Uh, there is no deportation plan that works in the reality-based world.
Take New Orleans after Katrina as an example. The government could not collect and move 100,000 people – when it knew where they were - they were all gathered in one building – and, they wanted to be found and relocated. Do you really think the government can find 10-20 million people who are spread throughout the country and who do not want to be found?

By that test, we would have to get rid of half the people who already are American citizens, including the current President. On second thought, that's not a bad idea.

We should make them leave, and it is a lot more then 12 million! The official remittance (US$ sent back to Mexico) is $24 billion so how many Mexicans making $18K a year does it take to send $24,000,000,000 a year, do the math...

I agree with most of all you stated but the putting them in prison we already support them, why do it for another 20 years? I say send them back every last one of them kids and all even if the kids were born here, the parents knew they were NOT supposed to be here in the first place before they got knocked up. It costs us US citizens more money in taxes to keep them here then it would to send them ALL back. I say send them back build the wall and fill it with water. LOL

i think 20 years is a little too steep of a sentence. but other than that i agree with you.i think they should be put in jail as soon as they cross the border into our country. then maybe they won't be so apt to cross over the border.'we've already been invaded by immigrants and they just keep coming because there's not enough being done to stop them.

We would have a fight on our hands if we decided to forcefully deport "20" million illegal aliens. I'd suggest we take all benefits from them (welfare, medical, etc...) & fine businesses who hire them (& I mean huge fines), & build a wall (not fence) above & below ground. These people will then "self" deport. They should be made to take their anchor babies with them (We don't want to spit up families... do we){sarcasm}???

you are an idiot, plain and simple, stick with wrestling, the real world obviously doesnt work for you.
please tell me as a business owner how do you detect ID fraud, businesses cant tell that the papers are fake until tax time and you would fine them a year in prison and 50K? I wonder if you get your panties wet about China, wait till you would impose that rule because everything would start coming from China.
news flash bud, not all illegals are Mexican, you just cant tell because some are white Europeans. And please tell me what good will a 50 foot wall do when they can go through or under it and you would want to post people out there in 120F summers?
Get real dude, get out of fantasy land.

Make them leave. I agree with your idea about fining the employers and building the wall. Something needs to be done to stop this cr*p.

Problem? Why is people crossing an invisible line to look for work a problem? Most of the problems anti-immigration people cite are caused by a bloated welfare state, not by the immigrants themselves. I have more respect for a hard working illegal immigrant than I do someone born in this country sitting in front of a TV and collecting welfare.
