I work with a couple of union welders and pipe fitters and they said there is a Clamper 'belief system'. the 3 tennants of their faith is Lying, durnkeness, and sex.
is there such a thing?

Clampers are a fraternal group, not a religion. They're one of the more witty and fun organizations out there.

I have somewhat heard of this group. I do agree with the response that it sounds to me to be more of a fraternity than a religious belief. What I just read, it is fraternity that is know as, "E Clampus Vitus" a historical group known as Clampers. They are responsible for placing plaques at some of the historical sites. They are known to drink and such.

Religion may vary from country to another depending what dictionary they use. Religion simply means Way of Life in generals.
