of course Jesus is real. they don't have the four gospels for nothing. at least two of the four gospels were disciples of Jesus. remembering also that Jesus did die for us and our sins. i believe it was the high priests that killed him. they were the ones saying 'crucify him!' because they wouldnt believe that he was the son of God and therefore were able to convince the people that he couldn't possibly be the son of God, so therefore must die. they can blame pontius pilate all they like, but the fact of the matter is, if it weren't for those high priests, Jesus would have lived on. if i was there at the time, i would have tried to convince people that he is the son of God, and wouldn't have been afraid to do so.

I think people at vatican can give you the statistics. You can also add up all good muslims because it is an article of faith in the Qur'an that you cannot be a genuine muslim if you deny the Prophethood of Jesus AS. In the Qur'an Great men were mentioned who preach and fight for the kingdom of God and Jesus' name is one of the FIVE FOREMOST.
The other four were ABRAHAM, NOAH, MOSES, and MUHAMMAD.
THESE GREAT MEN SUFFERED UNTOLD SACRIFICES IN THE NAME OF ONE GOD.
THEY DESERVE OUR GRATITUDE. IT WOULD BE A SIN TO FAVOR AND ELEVATE ONE AT THE EXPENSE OF ANOTHER. WHATS MORE, according to genealogy, these guys are relatives.
only small minds enjoy pitting each other the legacy of these people

I believe Jesus was a real person, and a well respected and hated man of his time but i don't necessarily believe everything he has done

Well, I don't know how many believe, but I do and I think more people do than don't.
I can't imagine not believing and I wouldn't be able to face each day without the Lords help. I would feel hopeless if I didn't feel confident that there was someone listening to my prayers. Nobody listens like the Lord does.

Do I believe that there was an actual man named Jesus? I'm not sure. I believe in the ideas that are stemmed from the Bible. I love the idea of having a friend in Jesus and for me thats enough!

I believe that jesus did indeed walk the earth and was one of many great teachers. However, the path I walk is not one of christianity.
In my eyes though, that does not make your beliefs any less valid then mine.
Blessings to you and yours

I do believe he came to earth to guide lost souls towards God. But I don't believe in magical stories related to him. Why can't people follow him without attaching virgin birth. Would he mean less to you people if you find out he was born like anybody else? Isn't it enough that he came to earth? Why do we need magical stories?
