Jesus said: "I am the Son of God":

"Jesus answered them, "Has it not been written in your Law, 'I SAID, YOU ARE GODS'?
"If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),
do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'? "
John 10:34-36

He acknowledged it when spoken by the high priest:

" Again the high priest was questioning Him, and saying to Him, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?"
And Jesus said, "I am; and you shall see THE SON OF MAN SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER, and COMING WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN."
Mark 14:61-62

He acknowledged this when spoken by Peter:

"He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"
Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. "
Matthew 16:15-17

His Father declared Him as Son of God directly out of heaven:

"After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."
While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!" "
Matthew 17:1-5

That is why He is worshiped, together with the Father, as the Lamb of God in heaven:

"Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang:
"Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!"

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing:
"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!" The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped."

Revelation 5:11-14

Some day, your knee will bow to Him:

"Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Philippians 2:9-11

I hope it is as a servant, not an enemy.

Sattar, that's a good question. I believe that Jesus founded "Christianity" on the premise of teaching others to do God's will, and serve the human brotherhood/sisterhood. But when Paul founded his version of Christianity, he founded a religion in which the glorified Jesus became the object of worship. In fact, Christianity is founded almost exclusively on the personal religious experience of the Apostle Paul. There is nowhere on the standard Canon, where Jesus himself is quoted as saying "worship me" ... he does however say in Jn 11:25 f.
"I am the way, the truth, ... "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness."

BUT he also said "The Kingdom of God Is Within You" -- this was written in the gospel of Thomas, which many Christians discredited because it wasn't part of the standard Canon. And there is a bunch of baloney and politics surrounding that.

Christianity has been subdivided and secularized to such a point that it seems far from what Christ wanted.

Uh, particular. Jesus DID declare tobe God interior the flesh. He made this declare whilst he reported "earlier Abraham grew to become into i grew to become into!! it is a connection with the OT whilst the Lord reported as Himself i'm. What you human beings could desire to comprehend is that in case you all at the instant are not crammed with the holy spirit you will in no way comprehend the word of God. And to attempt is an exercising in futility. And Jesus set it up that way on objective. BTW, Allah isn't the i'm. He grew to become right into a seventh century pagan moon god. And Mohammad continues to be rotting in a plot someplace. the place is Jesus? He has ascended!

He repeats "I and the Father are one." a whole lot. Give me a minute and I'll find the scripture. He says he is the son of God which makes him part of the Trinity. The Trinity is God; God is worshipped.

John 10:30, "I and my Father are one."

If Jesus meant to be worshiped as a deity, wouldn't he have written that down himself? The Bible doesn't say he is a god. It wasn't until the First Council of Nicaea in 325 (in Turkey) that the official canon of Jesus as God was decided.

Do you have friends that embellish stories? Imagine how the story of Jesus was embellished after 300 years!

John 14:9 Jesus saith, unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me Philip? He that Hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, show us the Father?

(John 15:21) - "But they will do all these things against YOU on account of my name, because they do not know him that sent me." Jesus here speaks very clearly and says that he was sent.
(John 17:21) " in order that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, in order that the world may believe that you sent me forth." Jesus stated that he and his father were in union, just as business partners are said to be in union with each other in that both agree upon the same things. If him saying that "his father and he being in union" meant that they were one and the same, then that would mean that all of us are God also, because Jesus went on to say that "they" would be in union with "us" meaning God, the father and himself, Jesus. I hope that makes sense.
And as far as him being worshipped, Jesus himself said: “It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.” (Luke 4:8) Clearly, the Bible does not portray him as an object of worship.

Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe." Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

It doesn't. The quote of I and the Father are one means Jesus walked in the shoes and ways of YHWH, not that He was YHWH. He followed the commandments. And most forget commandment no.1, THOU SHALT HAVE NO GOD BEFORE ME. To claim Jesus is G_D is going against no.1 rule.

Passages clearly show they are separate, specially the passage on how to get saved. Which strikes hard at the belief of Jesus is G_D. Plus how can Jesus sit on G_D's right side if He is G_D already? Realize who else sits on G_D's right side and you will then realize who truly is Jesus.

Isaiah 43:11
I, even I, am YHWH;
and beside me there is no savior.

Isaiah 42:8
I am YHWH : that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Exodus 34:14
For thou shalt worship no other el: for YHWH, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous El:

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Master Yahushua, and shalt believe in thine heart that YHWH hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
