I just wanted to get through open house quickly, so i basically ran up to each of my teachers, asked for a syllabus and moved on... My mom of course had to ask about requirements and stuff no one cares about, and then when i got in the car, she said i was rude cause i didn't even introduce myself to my teachers, and just said hey do you have a syllabus... I couldn't care a less, only I'm senior and these are the people who are going to have to write my applications... I think i can earn back their opinions, but could someone just tell me what they think,,, i'm soooo angry at myself i wanna SCREAM!! THX

They met a zillion people today. With any luck, they won't recognize you as the girl who fled.

Like they say, "Live and Learn". You may have to work much harder now to earn back the respect that you couldv'e easily had, but I think you know that. I do also think that if you make a good impression early on in the session, you may actually "erase" any negativity that may have come from it. You'll be fine. Sounds like you realize what the impact of your actions are and you are sorry about that enough to want to make it right. Thats what life is all about....learning from our mistakes and growing because of them. Good luck, I know you'll do great!

Let's not make mountains out of mole hills, Just go back when you can and explain you're stressing a bit senior and all they will more than understand. Your minor mishap is just that it can be fixed. Stay cool.

You will have plenty of time to give your teachers a good impression of you when you work hard in class, do your best, and show them respect. I don't think they will think badly of you because you were in a rush one time.

You have an entire year to let them know what a nice person you are. Don't sweat it.
