If the Judeo-Christian God is real, then how come there is no historical evidence of a major monotheistic religion in the world before roughly 2,000 B.C.?
Writing was invented in that area roughly around 3,500 B.C.
This is a gap of over 1,500 years. If the Judeo-Christian God is real, where is the evidence of a major monotheistic religion?
The historical and archeological evidence suggests that there was no such religion during that gap. This is very suspicious.
Why?
The reason why I am asking atheists this is because I want to hear an outsider's perspective. Thank you for your answers.

If I am mistaken about there being no scientific evidence of this, then please provide me with a link to a non-religious secular website that shows the evidence.

Before I answer a question like that, I'd like to know, where are you getting this information?
Also, what area are you talking about ("Writing was invented in that area roughly around 3,500 B.C.")?
And, like "human_hybrid" said, any records that would have been written before the flood would have been lost in the flood...
You may think that the flood could have been just a myth that has grown over time... but step back and look at the big picture...
ie, the Grand Canyon (Which is on the opposite side of the world from where the Bible was written).
There is little evidence that the Colorado river formed that HUGE canyon.
It's much more likely that there was a lot of water in a little amount of time, then a little water and a lot of time (see source list).
And as I said before, where is YOUR evidence that there was
"no historical evidence of a major monotheistic religion in the world before roughly 2,000 B.C."?
But when it's all been said and done, it just depends on if you have a personal Relationship with Jesus... without that, there is little hope...
You can choose to live without Christ if you want, but in the end, you'll regret that decision.

I would possibly hate an atheists perspective(s) approximately what I suppose in a religious surroundings, however at the turn-aspect, that atheist and I is also ardent allies politically. As for hating a man or woman within the entirety of the which means of that time period, I haven't any want to hate anybody. That type of hatred is for losers interval.

Writing of a global flood is exaggerated. Writing of anything in the bible is exaggerated. A story of a flood wiping out a town can grow through the years. Not to mention, a special effects crew and a mediocre magician can do everything Jesus could do, walk on water, turn water to wine, make fish and bread appear out of nowhere. Not to mention a doctor in Greece from two thousand years before could heal sick people.
Does anyone think that tsunami that hit India could have been mistaken for a global flood if it happened before mass media and you lived 2 months travel away from the event?

The people Moses lead were polytheistic, or were originally. The Bible has them worshipping another God, which is why he threw a fit when he came down the mountain.
I don't know about Judaism but Christianity was quite minor until Constantine converted, although previous Roman emperors had done their best to keep it minor.

I am a Christian and I must tell you that Abraham the Patriarch of the Jews came from a polytheistic culture and it was to him who God came to and that was many thousand years before Christ at least 4 I believe. I could be mistaken but I don't believe that I am.

Monotheistic Judaism began with Moses. Abraham and his group are not claimed as monotheists in scripture. Indeed, Rachel stole Laban's household gods.

Roughly 4,000 years ago there was global flood. You will find writings concerning this flood in the Bible.
I assume you know what this would do to any historical records not spared from the flood.

I am sure most of it was oral until the time of Moses, or Job.
