How long he stayed?

He stayed only in the land of Israel. He never visited India. Thomas, one of His apostles did, however.

Jesus said this: "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." (Matthew 15:24) Only after His resurrection did He say to His followers: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..." (Matthew 28:19)

This is the teaching of a particular sect of Islam http://www.geocities.com/athens/delphi/1340/jesus_in_india.htm which teaches that Jesus did not die on the cross. Another http://www.salagram.net/Jesus-Went-To-India.htm teaches that he went prior to his crucifixion.

There is no scriptural evidence that he traveled outside of the Jordan valley, except to Egypt during his youth (prior to the age of 12). Here are some excellent maps http://www.studylight.org/se/maps/browse.cgi?st=135#103 which include all of the areas Jesus visited in scripture (except Egypt). All this is part of the Roman Empire, and it seems unlikely that he would have traveled outside of the empire, particularly prior to his ministry, which definitely was contained entirely within the areas seen on the map. Index to more excellent maps http://www.studylight.org/se/maps/ . You can see by looking at the extent of the Roman Empire under Augustus http://www.studylight.org/se/maps/browse.cgi?st=130#098 that Jesus was very unlikely to have made the (extraordinarily) dangerous journey to India, particularly after mentioning in the Gospels that his mission was only to the Jews, not the gentiles.

I think that's BS too. ok so we find some Buddhist principals in the NT, but I'd say they were imported. You don't have to send Jesus to India to get "enlightened", there was enough Buddhism going on right in Israel. Maybe he went to Egypt like Moses to get initiated in a pyramid though.

Yeshua (A.K.A Jesus the Christ) never visited India.

He did however, live in Egypt the first couple of years of his life. He also traveled throughout Judea.

He was in Egypt as a very small child but after his return to Israel I don't think he visited another country.

St. Thomas evangelized India.

Jesus never traveled more than a few score miles during his public ministry.

There is no evidence that He did. It's a speculative theory that came around in the 70's.
