I've noticed that a lot of guys will seem to like me & look at me & then when we get close or have no choice but to talk to each other... they always avoid eye contact, or even talking to me for that matter. They always just talk to the other girl & look at me every now & then. Why is this?

Perhaps you body language is very strong and very distracted.Some people can't look at the person's eyes and have to avoid the contact.Perhaps you sight is very strong and your look at, is piercing.Those are normal facts in persons with your problem,which by the way, is not lethal it is, unpleasant.The solution try to be more relaxed when you're talking with someone.Talk and at the same time move your hands.I do that a lot.

Ha, same here. It gets annoying. It's like "Just talk to me for heaven's sake!"

He doesn't really like you. He is simply trying not to be rude. What he means is please leave me alone, without saying it. Which is in fact being rude, regardless of what he thinks.
