That's not enough food for one day, and not well balanced at all. If you want to lose weight you need to eat more, eat better, and exercise more.

Don't "diet" make a lifestyle change. Any diet you go on may help you lose weight but you'll tend to gain it back if you go back to your previous ways.

Eat a healthy well-balanced diet all the time...keep junk food, fast food, sweets, sodas, etc to a bare minimum (the occasional treat if you feel the need). Keep your calories over 1200 when trying to lose weight, and go for 4 - 6 small meals a day to keep your metabolism up for longer...add to that a lot of water, and at least 1 hour of exercise at least 5 days a week and you'll be on your way!

When you reach your goal, simply modify your calorie intake and/or exercise to allow you to maintain your weight instead of continuing to lose.

Yes, the 2 lbs could be water weight from your period. I vary as much as 2 or 3 lbs in a day due to water weight...don't panic just yet.

the bodyweight fluctuates daily that is normal. mostly it's from consuming an excess of carbohydrates or nutrients in general.

when the body stores excess blood sugar as glycogen in the liver and muscle tissue there is a corresponding increase in water at a 1:3-4 ratio. for every molecule of glycogen stored so are 3-4 molecules of water. the water is needed for later use to help metabolize the glycogen. this is where the extra weight is from and this is exactly why measuring the body fat % is more important than numbers on a scale, they can be very deceiving.

Your weight will vary slightly from day to day. It may also depend on what time of day you weighed yourself. Make sure to weigh yourself under the same circumstances each time for example before you take your shower in the morning. you may just be bloated. i wouldn't worry about 2 lbs.

Well a person usually gains and loses 5-10lbs everyday. It's all comes down to whether you went to the bathroom yet or not.

Weight fluctuates on a daily basis. But yes, having your period can make that happen.
