You would starve yourself and your body would start to burn muscle instead of fat.

And if you DID lose any weight, you would gain it and more back in just a few days.

If you really want to lose weight, eat healthier and exercise. That's it.

Is this all you plan on eating?

Simple answer is YES

However, you don't want to do that. Instead try six bowls stagered throughout the day. If you starve yourself your body will rely on the muscle in your body for subsitance. Try more but smaller meals. THis will trick your body into speeding your metabolism and burning more calories quickly. Also, if you don't workout you should. It will speed the process even more. If you do be sure to eat enough calories to sutain your body. Diets don't work because the human body is not designed to kill its self. Most diets simply starve the body and convince the mind that you are not surviving. The brain kicks in and tells the rest of the body to eat. Thats the uncontrollable urge that you get when you diet. Instead trick the body into thinking that you have ate enough by feeding it more often with less food. Compound that with exercise and you will be shedding weight like there is no tommorow. Many new recruits shed upto 80 lbs in the 3 month Marine Corps boot camp using this technique.

That's not a balanced diet, nor enough calories if that's all you intend to consume for the day...you will lose weight, but you'll put it right back on when you go back to more "normal" eating.

Don't try any gimmicks or tricks. Eat a healthy well-balanced diet all the time...exercise at least 1 hour a day at least 5 days a week...make a lifestyle change, don't starve your body to lose weight only to have it hoard every calorie when you begin eating more food again. Cereal and soya milk doesn't give you all the vitamins and minerals you need in a day.

Of Course, you'll lose some. Just as you would "some" if you went on Weight Watchers, Atkins, Sonoma, etc. programs. You would lose weight if you jogged 10 miles a day and "ate" healthy, which includes eating fruits and vegetables, staying away from calories or carbs. You would "stay healthy" if you drank more chlorinated water and ate foods that were nutritionally "beneficient." Unfortunately, in our country "healthy" is not healthy. The diet industry is making you think that if you ate those three bowls of cereal a day, you would lose weight. You would lose some, but unfortunately, every diet in America will not make you lose lots of weight without EXCRUCIATING work. There is a way to lose lots of weight quickly, but since its so controversial, I'm not going to mention for what it would to me. I'm sure I would get email after email trying to show that I was wrong. If you wish to know what it is, email me.

A calorie is a calorie. It doesn't matter if it comes from cereal or a meal. To lose weight and look good, exercise more and eat less. Always eat at least 1200 calories a day. Hopefully more than that.

It's not a healthy way at all. You can eat that cereal, but you need fruits and veggies, and exercise. You'll lose it and then gain in back. it will take time and a life style change.

If you exercise as well, you may lose weight.

A bunch of girls at my work tried it together and their weight loss varied from 0 lbs lost to 3 1/2 pounds.

You most likely will, but then again it isn't the most healthy way because you are eating the same food all day. That will result in gaining weight when you go back to normal eating.
