We've all "heard" Jack B tout the benefits of Vegemite on toast with a little butter and cheese. What I'm thinking is an American/Australian fusion meal of Vegemite and Pepperoni pizza, instead of tomato sauce we use Vegemite.
Who's up for a taste test? You get bragging rights if you do, and Best Answer if you can prove that you did it.
Oh and to keep it with the R&S theme, would Vegemite pizza be an FSM abomination?

Alia: We can always make it a vegi pizza, but there has to be cheese, if you don't eat cheese then I don't know if you can be in the cool crowd teehee ;p

Actually.. if you browned some minced steak with a little olive oil, some garlic, finely chopped onions, a rasher of bacon also finely chopped, a desertspoon of brown sugar, a tablespoon of Vegemite (heaped), some tomato paste and 2 fresh tomatoes sliced, then a little paprika, some oregano.... get that all juicy... then spread that about 6mm thick over a think pizza base... topped with some mozzarella, a little tasty cheese, some black olives, some artichoke hearts sliced and a splash more crushed garlic.... OK ok {{{Emily}}}.... and some pepperoni (sheesh)...
Now that is a fine Vegemite Australiana Pizza!

The FSM, being partially composed of marinara, would be extremely offended by the concept of Vegemite pizza.
But then, so would any sane human being possessed of working taste buds.
What's the origin of Vegemite anyway? Is it a holdover from the days when Australia was a criminal colony and that's all they knew how to make or something?

I don't have Vegemite on hand, but I have a lovely jar of Marmite! I am probably the only American citizen who loves Marmite. Hey, I have Pepperoni in the fridge, too!

Edit: Yay, fresh tomatoes with Vegemite. What an explosive combination!!!! ;)
Edit 2: Gazpacho's answer made me hungry, and it's early in the morning, here. Can we have pizza for breakfast?

Is there a kosher alternative to this combination of all that is foul? No, I am not Jewish, but my dear friend is, and the meat is better as a rule. I think we should cover dietary requirements for all beliefs, and what about the vegans?

Oooh, Emily, if you knew what my next taste challenge was. LOL.
Who's going to make my pizza? Certainly no me. LOL, my idea of preparing my dinner is making a ham sandwich.
