My favorite thing to do is act upon the New York stage, which I do.

Tinkering & travelling on my old Time Machine. I've found it's alot more dangerous & nerve-racking, though, than my other passion.
Knowing I can just motorcycle down a smooth road without getting trampled by some prehistoric reptile, or obliterated by unpredictable severe weather, is much more relaxing!!
But I once enjoyed some great live theatre in 19th-Century Vienna! The female vocalist that night was deeply emotional and superb! Even though I sat near the back, the acoustics were perfect and naturally-amplified! She sang about someone named "Pierre Henri," I remember... Although I didn't understand the language, I realised there are emotions which can be universally understood through music, and musical voice, which trancends the language barrier.
As for 'the obvious," I also love Rock & Roll drummers.

On pleasant summer evenings, I love engaging my kids in Uno tournaments on the back porch.
We do this only during summer break, so that makes it special and helps alleviate everyone's boredom. The relaxed atmosphere allows for some sincere conversations, and I get to know my kids on a more personal level. It's not unusual for us to play until the wee hours of the morning, and often we are still awake to watch the sunrise.
I wouldn't trade this for the world.

Of course I love praising God and I want to build an orphanage, [a line stolen from the Three Amigos.] Sometimes I just like to hang out with my horse, without any of the other horses around. He lets me tell him my problems, and never laughs at me, even when I tell him I used to be the Queen of the Rodeo, and I knew Marlon Brando.

A winter day, cold thin air, but a bright sunshine. Wake up early. Hybrid (both cross-country and downhill) ski through the back country. Then stay up late in Aspen or Vail, on the town.

I like writing at the spare time. I write about my emotions and about my experiences. I write romances, adventures, fictions, fantasies and chronicles. I am writing a book, but don't know if I will ever publish it. I love watching movies too. I love Lord of the Rings, so I watch it over and over. I love music... I love driving my car... I love talking to my kids... I love going out for dinner with my husband... I love traveling... I love talking to my mom on the phone... and I love studying about Spiritism, my religion.
Peace!

by "the obvious" the only thing I can think you mean, is playing with Hannah.
other that that the other "obvious" thing I like to do is read the answers on Y/A, but then that is also too obvious.
so my answer would have to be, I love to pray for people, and I spend most of my time on the prayer chain.
I do love to sing, but no one wants to listen.

I love singing as well. My wife and I and her cousins sing together when we visit them. We sing a variety of folk rock and folk songs, mostly. I also sing in our church's praise teem twice a month. I really enjoy it.
Another thing I love is watching the hummingbirds at our hummingbird feeder. They are really something to watch. I marvel at how tiny they are and how quick. Imagine the probability of something like that evolving! It's amazing that they evolved at all.... could it be that God created them?

Playing gigs. There's absolutely nothing like it (as presumably you know being a singer) You get to play music and jam with great musicians for a couple of hours - and I find I usually play better on gigs somehow (solos especially), and then you get paid for it! Sweet!
