One sows the seed,
another waters,
and another reaps.
we may never know when the seeds that we have sown,
has bore fruit but the Father know.
but be assured, it will bare fruit.

Sincere thoughts--
Well, there are several scriptures that come to mind when you share how you're feeling:
Galatians 6:9, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
God's grace will eventually come to an end. When I've asked God to show me why people do not get saved--this is the verse the Lord gave me:
2 Thessalonians 2:10, "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."
I was clearly shown that everyone who gets saved MUST receive a love of the truth. Very few people value the TRUTH--everything is about relativism and absolute truth is rejected out of hand. This has given me a new way to pray for those who are still lost and a way to reach out to them--I often ask those who are rejecting God's ways--"Do you love the truth?"
Asking someone to really think about what the truth means to them and what kind of priority/importance they put on it is sometimes a wonderful opening to reach those who are desiring something deeper in this life.
I pray that God gives you the encouragement that you seek and the joy of the LORD.

Precious one - I am in agreement with the answers who came before me, but let me include a reminder of the parable of the sower.
The "asker" may not consider your words - but another searching soul may read your answer and find that Jesus is *their* answer because of *you.*
Remember - there was a revival held many years ago - where the Pastor and staff were deeply disappointed.
Only one small boy came to accept Jesus Christ during the whole Revival. One.
That boy was Billy Graham.
You never know when a word you share will fall on a fertile heart.
Never give up, dear one.
Peace.

God bless.
It is written that there was and will be a type of man that walked and will walk upon the face of the earth.
Scripture tells us he was, was not, but yet shall be. This type of man that was, because he thought of only that which was evil, was destroyed from off the face of the earth in the flood of Noah.
So he was, then was not. Yet, certain events occurred throughout history that brought this type of man again upon the face of the earth. IT is a sign of the times as predicted when spoken of the days of Noah.
That is how we know the end is near and the coming or our Lord draweth nigh. For there are men who walk the earth who thing of only evil as did those who were destroyed by God with the flood.

Very few of the people writing in to this forum are truly seeking answers to questions. Some are, but most are looking for laughs and the rest are mostly wanting confirmation of what they already believe. It's the real minority that truly want answers. So please don't beat yourself up.
Also, remember, your only job is to witness. You cannot affect change in a person, only the Holy Spirit can. You just tell how Jesus has affected you and how your life has changed and how you see God and his word and let the Spirit do the rest. Some of the people that you don't think are affected might be affected but are not letting you know it. Maybe some don't even know it themselves yet. Others who you think you affect might not be affected at all. It's not your call to keep score or worry about the outcome, just to do your part. God will take care of the details.
Keep the faith.

I agree with you, we can't lose our hope in Christ or the desire to win souls over to Him. Even when people respond with the worst stuff imaginable, as I've seen some be quick to, we have to keep up hope that the message is going to get through to someone.
In Chapter 5 of Matthew, He is recorded as saying that men will hate us, spread lies about us and all sorts of disgusting things for His sake. Whether or not people find Christian bashing a quick and convenient way of deflecting their own shortcomings... I don't know. But, even the heart of Moses' Pharaoh was hardened to such a degree that he caused doom for his own people by not accepting God. The punishment was much worse than anything one person can conceptualize happening personally - to them - in their small corners of the world today.
If he, as one man, could take that all on his heart and not be moved, it shouldn't surprise you that people today can go to great depths when they truly don't want to open themselves up. Think of it. There has been mass desensitization to all sorts of horror and pain via the media and movies. Love is in short supply and ...at least in the USA... married people are getting divorced from each other faster than rabbits - which is most definitely NOT what God intended for us.
Matthew 24 reads like an issue of USA Today. But I know how you feel - even if the proverbial ship is sinking, we can't just abandon it. God originally never intended any of us to go to Hell.
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers, believe it not." -- Matthew 24:24-26
"Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." -- Matthew 5:11-12
"And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." -- Matthew 24:12-13

The sad truth is that we are all victims of distraction. We were once in the same place. We are save by God's precious grace and so it is by that grace (and sometimes that grace alone) that we are called to love and care for others. You have to remember that you are a child of God, that you walk in grace...
here is some inspiration for you when things get though:
I'm a part of the fellowship of the unashamed. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I'm a disciple of His and I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still.
My past is redeemed. My present makes sense. My future is secure. I'm done and finished with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap living, and dwarfed goals.
I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, or first, or tops, or recognized, or praised, or rewarded. I live by faith, lean on His presence, walk by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by Holy Spirit power.
My face is set. My gait is fast. My goal is heaven. My road may be narrow, my way rough, my companions few, but my guide is reliable and my mission is clear.
I will not be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed.
I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice or hesitate in the presence of the adversary. I will not negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I won't give up, shut up, or let up until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and preached up for the cause of Christ.
I am a disciple of Jesus. I must give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until He comes. And when He does come for His own, He'll have no problems recognizing me. My colors will be clear!
This was found among the paper of a Young African martyr...
Praise God for time that test our faith and try our hearts...because we are stronger for them...
We are like Sequoia seeds...they can only germinate after they have been burned by fire...
Praise God...and my Prayers are with you!

I know EXACTLY what you are saying and feel EXACTLY the same way!
Yes I have actually posted that verse on here a while back- it does break my heart to see the hardness of hearts, and the blasphemous remarks towards our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
BUT remember, that the word of God is alive and active- as Hebrews 4 says and it penetrates the hearts of sinners- many will feel conviction- even if they do not express it, they could be being drawn by the Holy Spirit!....keep praying that one of them will come to the knowledge of the truth! At least one! I know that feeling- but do not give up hope and please do not give up sharing the gospel of Christ.
Every single person who reads it, is hearing the word of God, and the word of God is powerful! Remember what God tells us who believe:
1 Corinthians 1:18
[ Christ the Wisdom and Power of God ] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

If only one person comes to know Christ by reading your answers, then that is to be celebrated. I, like you am disheartened at the number of people who put their faith in the world instead of God. The saddest thing is that they are missing the joy of God's grace. As christians we just continue to pray and walk with the Lord. If these people could feel the joy that we do in our daily walk, they would be so much happier. Unfortunately they have to believe before they experience the joy. I am just so thankful that I know the Lord and enjoy life so much because of it. You keep praying and I will pray with you that people will recognize when the devil is at work in their lives and turn to the Lord.

I'm on here and have been on here for quite a while.
I answer questions as "truthfully" (according to what I have learned in my Walk with GOD) as I can, To Help.
One of the biggest things you can help with is getting a person (who is blinded by satan) Saved.
I plant seeds.
I may never get to hear of even "one person" on this site who got saved.
I plant seeds.
I also try to help within the Family of GOD too!
And then, sometimes I just get silly and have fun!
I try to Remember this: you never know Who will Read something you wrote, and GOD will use that to Help Get Them Saved.
The Asker isn't the only one Who Reads these Answers!
Hope that helped!

Finally, a question directed toward Christians that doesn't bash them. I was afraid it was going to be another of those "well, if He was a loving God, he wouldn't let there be evil in the world..." ignorant rubbish questions. I completely agree with you and I'm glad there are still people in the world, even if only a few, who still get it. Thank you.
