get over it that 4th of a sandwich might cost a whole 1/4 of a cent. if she is full let it go or would you rather she get fat. your lucky your kid will take a sack lunch to school if i packed a sack lunch for my kids it would all be wasted. i pay for their lunches at $1.75 a day for three kids. or you could be real thrifty and make the same sandwich for 4 days put the 4th in the fridge every day and send the left overs with her on Friday.

Save those 1/4s and give them to her on Friday. She'll either quit bringing them home or eat them. I know how it is to be on a budget. I refuse to eat peanut butter unless it is fudge, so I wouldn't eat it myself but if you are so inclined, eat it.
You might ask her if she wants something else for lunches since she isn't eating all of what you are sending with her.
Good luck!

It's better for her to stop eating when she is full than to keep eating and become obese, which will cause your food budget to go completely out of control. Don't EVER force a child to eat when they are not hungry!

Just give her the three squares, and on the fourth day, give her those three squares you have saved.
