okay, so i went to the salon today with black hair, and i wanted to get my hair back to its natural color, light brown.. of course, when we bleached my hair it turned a vivid orange.. no matter to them though, they just slathered the other mixture of dye onto my hair and when it was done they sent me pretty much out the door..

so, when i go outside and my hair starts drying out i notice that its not a light brown, but a strawberry blonde, and the texture is very brittle, like straw..

anything i can do?

Let them know that you are very unhappy with the results. If you go back do not let them bleach or color your hair in any way. If you do anything you can ask for a conditioning treatment.

That's what happens when you go from black to a light color. I've done it my self and had a lady that I've known since I was born strip the color out and the funky orange color is about as good as it gets. I spent 10 hours the first time, 7 the second time and 3 the next time I went in and it never did go back to natural. You just have to let it grow out now, anything else will just dry it out more.

dont go back to the salon and definately tell them that you are very unhappy with the results of what they did . Now in the meantime use a great deal of pantene conditioner on your hair and slather it on . i think you will find the hair will be silky then . good luck .

About the color, you can go back and tell them its not the color you wanted and they might recommend something.. and the fact that its damaged is not their fault.. try buying a really good deep conditioner. And for the future ask them to dry it.. it shouldnt cost extra if its not a blowout.

The color they should correct for free, and since u had to walk around w/wrong color hair I would demand that they give u a free conditioning treatment
