I believe that I have, and there are others who believe that I have and ordained me according to that understanding and calling. In a real sense I believe God calls everyone to their several callings, not all are open to listening or faithful in responding. God's call comes in many ways, most usually in a still, small voice. He leads us with the gifts and talents He gives us and people who surround us.
Wherever I ran I found Him waiting.

GOD has a Calling for EveryBody.
After you get Saved, THEN you should Try and Find Out what that Calling is.
Most of the Time, your Already Involved in What GOD Calls you For AnyWay.
GOD gives Gifts and Talents to People.
These are Involved in your Calling too!
To Find Out what your Calling is, you can go to See a Prophet of GOD---(that's Part of their Job!!!) and, alot of Times, in the church building Meetings, Other People of GOD will come along and Confirm what you Think GOD is Calling you for AnyWay!!!
The Five-Fold Ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) are some of the Callings of GOD.
There are Others that are not Five-Fold.
I was Called of GOD to Sing.

Being "called" by God refers to the direction He wants us to take in life. One of my friends has been called to be a youth pastor and she's taking the steps to do so by furthering her knowledge in this area. I, myself, have a strong feeling that God is calling me to be a Christian counselor. When I find out that this is in fact true I'll begin taking psychology classes and praying that God helps me along the way to fulfill His desire for my life. I hope this clarified things for you. God either tells you directly or may allow you to discover something about Him that no one else knows. Then you must let Him guide you in the direction He chooses for you to go with this new knowledge.

Yes, from a vision followed by a prophetic statement and confirmed by another AND it rang true in my heart, as it was a desire of my heart to serve God and His people in that manner.

Well, I believe in many gods/goddesses. I have not been really "called" per se, only spoken to; given messages. When I get a message from one, I pay attention!

I was called by god once. but he hung up after he found out it was the wrong number....i wonder why he asked if duck was the special tonight?

If so, it was a wrong number, I'm not a pedophile like so many others he "called."
It means nothing except that the person speaking is delusional and not to be trusted.
