He rides on my shoulder all day and does not make any trouble, so why couldn't I bring him in? In the summer I wear a light weight jacket with a special lined "potty pocket" for him which he uses as needed, so he never leaves a mess or odor anywhere he goes. Plus he's very cute, and kids always like him.

My rat is not harmful like Xanex, and has scared many a moocher and large dog away from me by simply baring his ferocious looking teeth. Also he sometimes times subs as my ro-dentist.

Can you fluff him up a bit and make him look like a labrador?

Guess so, as I drove for a medical transport service that helped disabled people get around.
And heard of a story that a man had a service pet Boa. It scared the heck out of the driver that took care of him. But he had all the legal papers to do what he did. And it calmed him down.
Go figure.

Walmart can be surprisingly accommodating. I asked if I could bring my service snail into the store (I even had a special harness made for him) and they said "yes." Unfortunately, by the end of the day, I had only gotten as far as the greeter.

I'll have to get there earlier next time.
