Would he continue to talk to them about his message or would he simply walk away and leave them to make their own decision?

When people choose a settled state of rejection of the Gospel message Jesus instructed His messengers to shake off the dust of their feet as a testimony against them. However I would qualify this in noting that when Jesus sent forth His messengers, they came in the power of the Holy Spirit, healing the sick, casting out demons and demonstrating the power of the kingdom of God.

"When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ. But when the Jews opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, "Your blood be on your own heads! I am clear of my responsibility. From now on I will go to the Gentiles." "

ALL that the gospels report of what Jesus said, in private and in public, he could have uttered in two hours,” wrote Bible translator Edgar Goodspeed. “Yet that little was so stirring, so moving and so penetrating that it is safe to say nobody else has influenced the world so much.”

When Jesus Christ completed his earthly ministry in the year 33 C.E., his followers numbered at least some 120 men and women. (Acts 1:15) Today, more than two billion people claim to be Christians. Hundreds of millions more recognize Jesus as a prophet. His teachings have indeed had an extraordinary influence on mankind

The good news of free salvation has its own power from the spirit of God.

Jesus told all of us that are His disciples to tell about Him, His love and sacrifice done to save all who recieve it. But none are forced into God's kingdom. If some don't want God to be their God they can make that decision.....even though it has eternal consequences.

People are saved if they like it or not. Question is, how long till they will be able to enjoy the benefit of it. Right here, right now on Earth. Or after millenium of pain and misery is some hell-like reality. Till the Time of the White Throne Judgement comes. Their choice.

Better to ask "What did Jesus do" rather than "What would Jesus do".

He's done both. For example in the case of the latter consider the conversion of Paul.

2 Thessalonians 1:8 says;in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus.". So it's up to the individual.

That is happening now through his word in the bible. Once you die or when Jesus finally comes back you have made your choice by denying him , which will bring eternal punishment .

It would be they who would be walking away from Him. Thus forfeiting their own salvation. Salvation is a free gift. You accept it or refuse it.

God bless
