i ahve spotsso i went to the docs about it. she said "what can i 'ya for?" and i said "i think its pretty obvious *poits to spots and laughs*
She didnt laugh back and i told my doc i think i had yeast infection. she said "what type of yeast infection" and i said "down there.. do you think they're related??" and she said i think your hormones play a pretty big part.. so i asked her again and she didnt even ask me about my yeast infection again. i told her i've had it for years and she still didn't say anything about it and gave me a prescription for spot pills. but whehnn i went out my dad called me cheeky and i said what? and he said "you were cheeky, asking 'isnt it obvious'. a doctor is a serious job, its like joking to the police. it isnt really a laughing matter. she was asking u what was wrong and u just replied with that''
i said r u serious
and he said 'yeah i could tell she was narked from her body language..'
i was like OMG.
Do you think i was rude???

If I acted like you did with my doctor, my parents would say I was being a 'smart aleck.'
You were a bit rude and flippant. The doctor sees a lot of patients all day and doesn't have time for joking around. If you want to be treated properly, tell the doctor EXACTLY what's wrong and ask questions.
Since she seemed to gloss over your yeast infection, you should have asked her about it again. She may have been focusing on your rash rather than the yeast infection.
Your comments are very hard to read, too. You had a lot of typos and spelling errors.

I dont know the tone of your voice. I mean if one said' Isnt it obvious' in a laughing and sweet way it could be ok. But I personally wouldnt have said that. I dont know what narked means. I dont know what you mean by spots either. I just think that you need to know that you are only one patient. Another patient could have spots too like you do, but that day be more concerned about something else, like chest pain or a breast lump and want the Dr to address that instead. So thats why Doctors ask that question

I wouldn't take it personally. The doctor may have been having a bad day. Many people are nervous when going to the doctor and say things that might seem like jokes but aren't that funny, I'm sure. If you are that worried, you could always write a note of apology to the doctor, but you didn't intend to be rude, so it would be foolish of her to take offense.

I'm sure you didn't mean to be rude, but it came out that way. You are so obsessed with your spots that you forgot that not everyone thinks they are as noticeable or important as you do. By asking her, "Isn't it obvious?" you essentially called her stupid for not noticing and guessing how important it was to you.
Even if you didn't mean to be rude, it would be good to apologize next time you see her. And ask her again about your yeast infection - as a doctor she shouldn't just ignore that.

Maybe your doctor just doesn't have a sense of humor. I personally would have found that funny. I have this allergy doctor and he has no sense of humro whatsoever. When I was waiting in the waiting room for my appointment, my mom told me, "He has no sense of humor. Don't tell any jokes. Be as serious as possible."
