Keep your shoes out of the puppy's way.... That's about all that I know that we can do... @

Firstly...congratulations on your new puppy!
Everyone has suggested you move your shoes out of reach (which is pretty obvious).
Bear in mind that puppies are active like a child and love stimulation. They will chew on your shoes because they smell interesting to them (especially if leather...mmmm....leather - ha ha) and they teeth just like babies.
Try giving your puppy something else to play with, or your furniture or clothes may be the next unsuspecting victim. Your local pet shop will have heaps to choose from, or even an old teddy bear will do the trick.
Good luck.

leave one old shoe out and spray it with , any product you can by that stops dogs from chewing like bitter apple , Set the puppy up and have a Bone ready when the pup grabs the shoe , say no, to the pup and offer the bone and say yes if he takes the bone ,, three things are happening here.
one the shoe dose not taste good
two , he got in heck for having the shoe
three the bone is better
this will take many times over a course of months , in the mean time keep shoes that are not sprayed out of pups reach .

Find what motivates your dog. Some dogs do anything for food. Some dogs do anything for Toys. Some do anything for a good petting. Some do anything for only one type of food, like cheese, or hotdog. Some only have interest in training for 5 minutes at a time, and others can go for an hour. Figure out what your dog is willing to work for, and then work with her in sessions that are no longer than she can tolerate. How to train your dog properly https://tr.im/epOKw

Sign up for a dog obedience training class. It will not train your dog. It will give you training on how you can train your dog. Most people understand the idea of training, but there is a right and a wrong way to do it, and there is good and bad technique. Timing and consistency is very important, and it helps to have feedback of someone watching you who can help you improve your technique to get more efficient results with your dog.

However, she may be somewhat anxious around other dogs, sort of like the shy kid on the playground. She will benefit from continuing what you are doing as far as asking her to sit before entering, but there are more things along those lines that will help her to calmly go in and out of the dog park. She may also benefit from going in short bursts, or only when fewer dogs are present, or avoiding times when other dogs that make her nervous are present. Maybe she just plays loud - my brother's dog is this way - or maybe she is a dogpark bully - sorry it is possible. But more likely she is just a little anxious around new dogs and she wants to play but just doesn't quite know how to do that and still feel comfortable. Don't be surprised if your dog does not actually like the dog park, and maybe she would get more enjoyment and less stress out of simply going for a good walk somewhere else.

A wagging tail does not mean that your dog is happy or even comfortable with the situation. It means your dog is emotionally aroused. This could be a happy arousal, or it could be a nervous arousal, or it could be an aggressive arousal. Go youtube it, there are plenty of videos of 'vicious' dogs who are throwing a very aggressive fit of barking and snarling while their tail is wagging vigorously. Even police dogs who are not let off the leash to chase down a suspect can be lunging and barking and snarling, and their tails are still going.

Well you need to address the chewing issue first.

Do these things first to stop the chewing:

Pretend you are your dog by getting down on your knees and looking around your house. What do you see?

Then pick up anything in the dogs sight that would be a likely chewing subject

Then you need to make sure puppy has good things that he/she can chew on - like chewies, pig ears, toys etc. When you see puppy chewing on things that are innappropriate trade with the proper item. Hold the item in front of them and say NO. Then give them a good chew toy.

Also, perfume on shoes works great - as does Apple Bitter (you can get at your local pet store) because when they chew it will taste nasty and they won't want to.

Also be sure not to leave your puppy alone in the house unattended until they learn their manners!

Firstly like others have mentioned put the shoes out of the puppy's reach and then maybe get your pup a chew toy (the bone shaped ones are good so it gets use to that toy and the shape ready for his big bone treats or chicken necks, whatever the case it also depends on how big your pup will get to what chew toy you get for it.

Hope this helps

lock the shoes in a closet or discipline him/her when they eat your shoes. U don't have to get physical but the best way to discipline your animal is first by showing them your chewed up shoe and saying no, no, no bad dog in a firm voice. then send you puppy for a "time-out" so to speak. Basically, what you want to do is punish the puppy by not showing it affection...so ignoring the puppy or when he/she jumps up at you turn your back to the dog and walk away...over if u r sitting down tell the dog to lay down in a firm voice and then just look away.

Trust me...dogs are pack animals. u need to establish u r the alpha male and the u are displeased with the him/her. This is how you do it. the puppy wants to please you and give you love and affection...don't let the puppy do this. stand firm and "ground" the puppy for a day with no love, playing or affection. You must tell the other ppl in your household to do the same thing else the puppy won't get the message that eating shoes is a bad thing.

Good Luck

if you can not always pick your shoes up there are plenty of sprays that are safe to apply to almost any thing fido could get his mouth around.
also while you are just sitting around put your shoes so you can keep an eye on them but not so close that your puppy knows your watching him. soon as he goes for the shoes make a loud noise ,clap or spay him with water.
your dog will soon realise he would rather positive attention from you rather then smelly boots any way.

Keep him away from your shoes.
Keep shoes in cupboard.
Slightly clip puppies nose 'not to hurt puppy' with shoe and continue this so that puppy knows that it can't do this to your shoes

Well i had that problem with my dogs, i made sure my shoes were up, but if by chance i forgot and they chewed, i would put them in there cage for 5 minutes or so, or you bring them the shoe, or whatever it is and show them, and most likely they will know they did something wrong, and you make sure you tell them no......

Loud noises, like a sudden clap or whistle, or something like that is the best thing rather than hitting them, try and catch them doing it, and when they try you just make a really loud noise....Dogs hear so much better than humans and they dont handle loud noises very well, so therefore they will begin to associate loud noise with bad things.

No yelling, but a loud quick noise, then give them something they can chew on.
You can bait them if you want with a shoe, or something you dont want chewed and watch them.

This is what i have done and it worked, i wish you the best of luck.
