first puberty is not just something that happens at the beginning of your teens its right the way through so that you are wrong. On the outside you may have developed everything all ready but on the inside your hormones are still at play. But I also do understand that it could be something more then just hormones. There are many many different things it could be from poor diet, lack of exercise, a chemical imbalance casing a mood disorder and this list goes on and on. What you really need to do is talk with an adult about this maybe a school councilor or nurse. OH and by the way I am 26 years old and still have problems with hormones when I start my menstrual cycle so hormones are not just a teen thing.

Clinical depression is assessed in a specific way at a doctors office, not online.

Your moods depend on what you are telling yourself. If you think about it, what you just wrote here you said to yourself before you wrote it. And you come across a little peeved or angry.

So ask yourself what you think about what is happening around you that causes mood swings.

If you are thinking 'poor me I'm so badly done for' then guess what---> that is how you will feel.

If you expect everything to be a certain way then if it doesn't happen what happens to your mood?

Make a list of all the good things that happen to you and all the things you have. And be grateful for all these.

That will put you in a better mood.

It is very possible that it is Bipolar Disorder. Many people that have clinical depression or are just depressed begin to show the sign of having Bipolar Disorder. You could ask your doctor about it and see if you need medication. You could try taking Seroquel, I have been on it for about 2 years and it helps me. But if there is another medication that your doctor suggests then try that first because Seroquel is highly addictive. I found that out about a year ago when I went into a mental hospital and they decided to take me off seroquel and try another med and it made me go crazy. I hope you find help soon and just try to control it the best you can until then.

There's a variety of conditions and circumstances that can cause mood swings, including new or stressful situations. So, there's no reason to suspect clinical depression (or bipolar illness) unless you have other symptoms of depression or bipolar illness as well.

Try visiting some self-diagnosis pages to see if you can figure out your situation:
