I agree that Montoya needs to go back to the IRL. His style of racing is getting everyone upset, even his teammates. Unfortunately, NASCAR is still a business and of course the people with all the money want Montoya to stay. Other teams can't go out and crash him every week, because the money backing their cars would be upset at the damage being caused to the cars with their names on it. I have a feeling that Montoya is going to learn one way or the other about proper racing ettiquette. Hopefully he doesn't hurt someone in the process!!

Montoya seems a little too worried about winning by bumping others. He talks about respecting him, well first he has to respect others. They really don't care if he was a big deal in another racing circuit, & I'm positive they won't tell Juan "if we see you in the rear-view mirror, just feel free to go around or through us".

"The Dude" is right. When they get to Bristol Nascar actually allows bumping around and they know it's going to happen. JPM will learn about respect on this track. The moments he says he's going to pay someone back is when Nascar will likely penalize him. You can bump there you just can't make it known that you are going to pay someone back.
There's going to be helmet throwing, dents, wrecks, foul language, and maybe a fight. Tempers flare at Bristol that is what makes it such a good track.
Montoya will learn at Bristol.
additional:
I've got nothing against Montoya , he just stated himself that in the interview on ABC that he was letting everyone know he was there and he was going to be aggressive, ,, Kevin Harvick had his car parked for being too aggressive so should only be fair Juan does too.

you are right he have's no respect for he's few driver's so how does he think he should get respect. If he want respect he have's to get it the same way everyone else got it . as for the one who said the thing about dale sr, when sr bumped he's few driver it was not out of him just being a butt. It was to tell them he was comeing and to get out of the way. He said he bump's them and they bump him it is part of raceing and they respected him for that and he respected them. montoya on the other hand have's no re spect and does it out of madness.

This is just a guess, but I think I know why JPM is so aggressive
The first race of his career, Juan Pablo was spun out and went into the wall. His car caught on fire...not a very good way to end the first race of his career. Just a guess, but I think this might be his payback, and he's just taking it a little too far.

Because then that would be ovbious. Plus juan does a pretty good job of wrecking him self, and his teammates not to mentnion that. its sad when only 1 of his teammates actually like him.

How the rule is if a driver is in a crash and he/she and the car/truck cant leave the track unassisted they must go to the infield medical center. If a driver and car crashes stalls but the car fires back up and the driver can drive off he isnt required to go

MONEY--DRIVER SAFETY--POINTS!!!!!----- Each cup car costs between $300.000--$700.000 dollars the owners wont allow wrecking on purpose to get even!! Driver safety--it is against the rules ucan be penalized for this and aggressive driving--being penalized in Monetary fines and drivers points for the race and if judged severe enough not being allowed to race for several races. This is where the points come into effect---No racing---no finishing position----NO POINTS

I dont think the others want to ruin their cars, but I would not rule out a good old fashioned "meeting" behind a hauler

Funny, I remember a lot of people saying the same things about Tony Stewart in 1999, and well, he's the only driver to win multiple championships since he started driving!
